Atlas Security Service Implements 2-Call Verification
In an effort to reduce the frequency of false police dispatches to its customers, Atlas Security Service has implemented 2-Call verification on all burglary alarms.
When the Alarm Control Center at Atlas receives a burglary type alarm signal, two calls will be made on the customer’s call list before the authorities are notified.  This most often includes the premise and the first person on the call list.  In the event that no one can be contacted, the authorities will be dispatched immediately.
This allows a second opportunity for customer-caused or environment-related alarms to be cancelled before the authorities are dispatched, thus lowering the number of false alarms, and ultimately, extra charges to the customer.
